Monitoring farm performance

We developed FarmMetrics, an online agricultural data platform, to gather data from multiple sources including farmers, their advisers and 3rd parties and enabled that data to be shared with other businesses working with the farm through the supply chain.

Supporting PhD Research in India

Joanna approached us looking for a solution to gather information on patients located across India through remote field work as part of her PhD research into patients of cleft lip and palate operations.

Organisational & Clinical Auditing

We worked closely with NCEPOD develop a web based application to streamline the collection of organisational and clinical data from hospitals throughout the UK with the goals of reducing paperwork, administration while offering increased data security and access to information.

AMR Auditing in the Netherlands

We worked with a group of vet practices located in the Netherlands to develop an offline-capable app to aid vets in carrying out on-farm health audits of nearly 4,5000 farms across the country. The solution enables the practices to provide consistent reporting to farmers while providing centralised data in real time for analysis.

FarmMetrics is a vital tool in servicing the needs of my consultancy clients. As well as using it to track production and feeding costs over time, it allows me to contextualise performance through its benchmarking facilities, and to look at other health factors that may be affecting production such as metabolic disease and mastitis.

Unlike other feed costing systems I've tried, it is both easy to enter data into and immediately generates engaging reports that I use as points for discussion with my clients. Being able to create custom surveys also helps with specific initiatives with groups of farms. In an increasingly data-driven, progressive industry, I wouldn't be without it.

I find the Benchmarking and Analysis section very useful as you can see the monthly results straight away adding another layer of data to drive informed decisions to drive our business forward.

Meeting Up

We will arrange to meet with you face-to-face to better understand your business & needs followed by brainstorming possible solutions with you

Budget and Timescales

In order to provide you with a suitable solution its important we understand your timescales and budget before pulling together a proposal

Proposal

Following our initial meeting(s) we will pull together a project proposal outlining the requirements of the solution and the associated costs

Development

Once we have the go ahead, our team will begin the development using agile methods, this includes keeping you involved throughout the development process

Testing

Although we use various quality assurance processes throughout development of our solutions, at this stage we will provide your team full access to test everything out

Launch

Once the solution is built and tested, we will work with you to release it. Our team will be on-hand to help deal with any queries that may come up
